This course aims to build students’ writing, reading, and critical thinking skills, and combines a comprehensive grammar review with an introduction to paragraph writing and composition. Throughout the course, students will become familiar with several types of college level writing assignments, identify common grammar and usage issues, and understand academic research strategies and citation requirements. By the end of the course, students should be able to apply these skills to successfully complete college level writing assignments.
